Framed beach collage created using antique beach pottery, stones, pebbles and driftwood found washed-up on the beautiful beaches of the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland.
This cute seaside scene features the iconic orange RNLI lifeboat. This particular one is the Mersey Class "Kingdom of Fife" lifeboat found in Anstruther. The lifeboat has been hand-painted onto sea pottery and sits alongside a tiny seagull, made from beach pottery found on Anstruther beach. The seagull is perched on an old piece of driftwood. A beautiful piece of blue & white floral beach pottery forms rocks in the foreground, it's colours and patterns still vivid after decades tumbling in the sea. Wire wrapping has been used to make the seagull's feet and beak, seagulls in the sky and a tiny silver fish in the sea.
The piece comes in a wooden box frame and measures 18cm square. Please choose your frame colour (either white wood or rustic washed wood) using the drop down menu. (Item: 1028)
