Blue Whale - Beach Pottery - Pebble Art Driftwood Ornament (No. 1125)
A driftwood ornament created using driftwood, antique beach pottery, stones and pebbles found washed-up on the beautiful beaches of the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland.
This tiny scene features a tiny blue whale made from cobalt antique beach pottery. Two more pieces of blue & white pottery form the sea in the foreground, one has a gorgeous floral pattern, still incredibly vivid even after decades tumbling in the Scottish seas. Wire wrapping has also been used to create water spouts for the whale, a seagull in the sky and a tiny silver fish in the sea.
The piece measures approximately 6.5cm wide by 11.5cm high. The wood has a flat bottom so the piece can be a freestanding ornament. (Item: 1125)
