Blue Sailing Boat Beach Pottery Driftwood Ornament (No. 1108)
A driftwood ornament created using driftwood, antique beach pottery, stones and pebbles found washed-up on the beautiful beaches of the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland.
This tiny scene features a beautiful sailing boat made from pieces of blue & white antique beach pottery. The main sail has a gorgeous Greek key or Roman pattern, still so vivid even after decades tumbling in the Scottish seas! Wire wrapping has been used to create a mast for the boat, a seagull in the sky and a tiny silver fish in the sea.
The piece measures approximately 6cm wide by 8cm high. The wood has a flat bottom so the piece can be a freestanding ornament. (Item: 1108)
