Hand Painted Highland Coo & Pebble Seagull - Beach Pottery Driftwood Ornament (No. 1118)
A driftwood ornament created using driftwood, antique beach pottery, stones and pebbles found washed-up on the beautiful beaches of the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland.
This tiny highland scene features a shaggy highland coo, hand-painted in metallic bronze and browns onto plain beach pottery. Pieces of green and blue antique beach pottery form hill in the foreground. A tiny seagull sits alongside the cow, it's wings also formed from blue & white beach pottery. Wire wrapping has been used to create horns and legs for the cow, the beak and legs of the seagull and another tiny seagull in the sky.
The piece measures approximately 11cm wide by 6cm high. The wood has a flat bottom so the piece can be a freestanding ornament. (Item: 1118)
