Hand-Painted Oystercatcher & Antique Pottery Lighthouse - Framed Beach Collage (No. 819)

Hand-Painted Oystercatcher & Antique Pottery Lighthouse - Framed Beach Collage (No. 819)

£40.00 £45.00

Framed beach collage created using driftwood, antique beach pottery, stones, pebbles and driftwood found washed-up on the beautiful beaches of the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland. This seaside scene features a hand-painted pebble oystercatcher searching for food on a driftwood beach. In the background a tiny lighthouse and cottage sit on a ceramic harbour wall, painted with choppy blue waves. The lighthouse is a beautiful piece of patterned antique beach pottery with a floral and leafy design still very visible. A tiny piece of green pottery forms an island on the horizon. Wire wrapping has been used to make the puffin's feet, seagulls in the sky and a fish in the sea.

The piece comes in a white wooden box frame and measures 18cm square (Item: 819)
