Hand Painted Pebble Puffin & Beach Pottery Driftwood Ornament (No. 1123)
A driftwood ornament created using driftwood, antique beach pottery, stones and pebbles found washed-up on the beautiful beaches of the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland.
This tiny seaside scene features a colourful puffin, hand-painted onto plain white beach pottery. A beautifully piece of blue & white beach pottery forms the sea, its patterns and colours still vibrant after decades tumbling in the Scottish seas. A second piece of green pottery creates a little grassy mound for the puffin to perch on. Wire wrapping has been used to create the puffin's feet, a seagull in the sky and a tiny silver fish in the sea.
The piece measures approximately 6cm wide by 8.5cm high. The wood has a flat bottom so the piece can be a freestanding ornament. (Item: 1123)
