Puffin - Beach Pottery - Pebble Art Driftwood Ornament (No. 1126)
A driftwood ornament created using driftwood, antique beach pottery, stones and pebbles found washed-up on the beautiful beaches of the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland.
This tiny seaside scene features a colourful puffin, hand-painted onto plain white beach pottery. A piece of cobalt blue beach pottery forms the sea and a second piece of green and brown stripy 'retro' pottery forms a grassy mound for the puffin to perch on. Wire wrapping has been used to create the puffin's feet, a seagull in the sky and a tiny silver fish in the sea.
The piece measures approximately 5.5cm wide by 11.5cm high. The wood has a flat bottom so the piece can be a freestanding ornament. (Item: 1126)
