A handmade Scottish sea glass necklace, personalised with an initial in silver-plated wire. The glass I use has been collected from the local Fife beaches and has been reshaped and smoothed over decades of tumbling in the Scottish waves!
I've added a couple of photos as examples - a cobalt blue with an E and a green with a J! I've also provided images of the initials and the colours of sea glass available but these are as a guide only - each piece of seaglass is unique in shape and colour and I will make slight alternations to the lettering to make it fit the shape of the glass. I'm happy to provide a photo of your necklace to ensure you're happy with the result before posting.
Please allow extra time for delivery as all personalised necklaces will be made to order. I will aim to post within a week but please message me if you have a particular deadline!
All necklaces come with a silver-plated 18" snake chain and gift box.
The sea glass washes up on the beautiful beaches in Anstruther in the East Neuk of Fife in Scotland. Much of it dates back to the Victorian era and are known as 'mermaid tears'. When sailors were lost at sea, the mermaids would cry and their tears would wash up on the shore.
