The Fife Coastal Path runs 117 miles from the Firth of Forth in the south to the Firth of Tay in the north, passing through the pretty East Neuk villages. The quaint fishing cottages at Pittenweem line the way of this coastal path as it weaves along the shore towards St.Monans. The 'crow step' features on the roofs of many of the cottages are a link back in time to when the Flemish settled in the East Neuk.
