Sea Glass Pendant - Pale Blue Celtic Wire Wrapped Necklace - Scottish Silver Jewellery

A blue sea glass pendant. Handmade jewellery from Scotland using pale cornflower blue seaglass. The sea glass has been frosted and worn smooth after decades of tumbling in the sea!

The necklace is wire-wrapped with silver-plated wire and features a sweet little Celtic spiral. The sea glass itself is approximately 2.5cm high. The necklace comes with a silver-plated snake chain with an extender on it which can be worn between 16-18 inches. 

It arrives gift-wrapped in a pretty box with a free silver cleaning cloth, making it a perfect present for anyone who loves the sea and it's natural treasures!

The glass has been reshaped and smoothed over decades of tumbling in the waves! Blue glass is rare, particularly at this size. It was commonly used in medicine (or poison!) bottles, which were traditionally made from thinner glass than beer or wine bottles. Therefore is tended to break into smaller fragments in the sea so large pieces like this are hard to find! (Item: 3673)
