In the late summer, when the farmers fields have been harvested, the hay bales tumble down towards the shore at St. Andrews East Sands. The town’s distinctive skyline can be seen, with St. Andrews’ Cathedral and the pretty coloured houses by the harbour, where, traditionally, the students parade in their red gowns.
