Favourite People & Places

The East Neuk of Fife, with it’s beautiful scenery, wildlife and culture, make it a haven for incredible talent; inspiring artists and musicians, some of whom I am lucky enough to call friends. If you are looking for a place to escape for the weekend with stunning beaches, a friendly welcome and great food... look no further! I’d love to share some of my favourite people and places with you here....

Beautiful watercolour and ink drawings inspired by the East Neuk's quaint houses, quirky wildlife and passing people. Yolandé is based in Cellardyke and particularly enjoys taking on commissions of family pets, horses and houses. www.yolandekenny.com

MUSICIANS

Rich YoungRich Young

One-time resident of the East Neuk, Rich has played & recorded with a diverse range of artists including members of Iron Maiden, Eurythmics', Dire Straits and the East Neuk's own King Creosote. He now tours acoustically, with several solo CD's under his belt. Rich was kind enough to let me record my concertina for a couple of tracks on his brilliant album 'Unseen Vol One'.

The Coaltown DaisiesThe Coaltown Daisies

An amazing duo of singer-songwriters who write and perform dynamic folk, soul and americana music all over the country. Their records, released under their own Ragged Boot Records label, feature some of Scotland’s most highly established musicians. I was thrilled to record on their beautiful track 'Fall on Your Sword' which features on the epic EP 'A Whisky for the  Road'.
