Green Sea Glass Bracelet - Sterling Silver Slider Bracelet with Aventurine Crystal Beads

A delicate sea glass bracelet with a nugget of genuine green Scottish beach glass, Aventurine crystal and sterling silver beads, all presented on a sterling silver bracelet. The adjustable ball slider ensures a perfect fit on your wrist. This colour of sea glass is evocatively known as 'sea foam'. The beach glass has been worn smooth and frosted after decades of tumbling in the Scottish sea!

At it's full extension, the bracelet measures 24cm (just over 9 inches). Please make sure this will fit over the widest part of your hand to get the bracelet on. Once it's on, the ball slider is easily tweaked for a snug fit. The bracelet arrives in a gift box and gift-wrapped with a free silver cleaning cloth, making it a perfect gift for anyone who loves the sea and it's natural treasures.

Aventurine has been chosen to perfectly complement the colours of the sea glass. Rumoured to have been used in the shields of Amazonian Warrior Queens, Aventurine is renowned for bestowing confidence and power. From the Italian "avventura" for luck, it has been used as a talisman for over 2.5 million years and can bring prosperity, love and open-mindedness! Aventurine is the birthstone for Taurus.

All my jewellery is handmade in Scotland from naturally sea-worn materials. I love to gather these treasures while beach-combing on the beautiful beaches in Anstruther in the East Neuk of Fife as well as the surrounding beaches of St Andrews, Pittenweem, Crail & St Monans. Much of the seaglass dates back to the Victorian era and is known as 'mermaid tears'. When sailors were lost at sea, the mermaids would cry and their tears would wash up on the shore.
