Green Sea Glass Earrings - Sterling Silver Beaded Earrings with Jade Crystal

Delicate sea glass drop earrings. The earrings are handmade with olive green Scottish beach glass, Jade crystals, sterling silver beads and Czech glass beads. The earrings include nuggets of genuine sea glass, worn smooth and frosted in the Scottish sea. 

The earrings measure 4cm in length from the top of the hook.

The sea glass used in these earrings is collected from the coastline of the East Neuk of Fife in Scotland, making each pair truly unique and special. The subtle variations in colour and texture add to the organic and natural feel of the earrings.

All my jewellery is handmade in Scotland from naturally sea-worn materials. I love to gather these treasures while beach-combing on the beautiful beaches in Anstruther in the East Neuk of Fife as well as the surrounding beaches of St Andrews, Pittenweem, Crail & St Monans. Much of the seaglass dates back to the Victorian era and is known as 'mermaid tears'. When sailors were lost at sea, the mermaids would cry and their tears would wash up on the shore.
