Twait Shad fish. Greetings cards from the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland featuring whimsical watercolour paintings. I've tried to capture the joy of the Scottish seaside, our beautiful beaches and cute, local wildlife! Each card is taken from an original illustration using watercolour, ink and coloured pencil.

This card features a cute, colourful fish swimming amongst the seaweed. This fish is a Twait Shad, a protected species in the UK and the original painting was done as part of the Edinburgh Shoreline 100 Species Project to raise awareness of its plight. Although this particular Twait Shad is very happy swimming in a turquoise, aqua seascape with a tiny shoal of white fish overhead and a wavy piece of kelp on the rocky ocean floor. The original painting was produced using a blend of watercolour, ink and pencil.

These are perfect for any occasion and left blank for your own message. Measuring just over 14.8cm square, these colourful, fun prints will bring a smile to any face!
