Original Watercolour Painting - The Haven - Snowy Moonlit Scene

This is an original watercolour painting - hopefully the first in a range of wintery night-time scenes that will go on to become Christmas cards for 2026! It features the gorgeous Haven pub in Cellardyke (Fife), it's windows warming glowing to welcome chilly walkers on the Fife coastal path. An old telephone box stands alongside - this is now being repurposed as a miniature art gallery called 'Gallery 495'! Snow has fallen and the full moon shines down on the scene. The constellation Cassiopeia, a prominent feature in the Scottish night sky, can be seen above the pub's roof.

Lovingly hand-painted and signed, it's ready to grace your wall or brighten up a shelf.

The watercolour comes in a contemporary white box frame with an off-white mount, perfect for any decor. The artwork itself measures just under 3.75 x 3.75 inches (9.5 x 9.5cm) while the overall frame size is just under 7 x 7 inches (17.5 x 17.5cm). The frame can be hung on the wall but also has a stand on the back so can be freestanding on a shelf.

These paintings from the East Neuk of Fife in Scotland feature whimsical watercolour illustrations of some of my favourite wildlife and places! I've tried to capture the joy of the Scottish seaside, our beautiful beaches and cute, local wildlife. Each painting uses watercolour, ink and coloured pencil.
