A unique pendant handmade from original antique sea pottery. This lovely fragment of cobalt blue sea-worn china has washed up on the beaches of the East Neuk of Fife in Scotland after decades tumbling in the sea.

The necklace is wire-wrapped with silver-plated wire and features a tiny Celtic spiral. The piece of pottery measures approximately 3cm high and comes with a silver-plated snake chain with an extender on it which can be worn between 16-18 inches. 

It arrives gift-wrapped in a gift box with a free silver cleaning cloth, making it a perfect present for anyone who loves the sea and its natural treasures! (Item: 4285)

All my jewellery is handmade in Scotland from naturally sea-worn materials. I love to gather these treasures while beach-combing on the beautiful beaches in Anstruther in the East Neuk of Fife as well as the surrounding beaches of St Andrews, Pittenweem, Crail & St Monans. Much of the seaglass dates back to the Victorian era and is known as 'mermaid tears'. When sailors were lost at sea, the mermaids would cry and their tears would wash up on the shore.
